Well folks I guess the cat's outta the bag--or heck, the hog's off the smoker! Our brand-spankin' new Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint is set to open this Thursday, August 4th, and dang our engines are revving for it.
We've been putting finishing touches everywhere: from hanging the last of that great Martin's paraphernalia you all know and love as our "decor," to hookin' up all 30 of our beer taps so they're flowing full-force when you walk in the doors on Thursday, we've been working hard to make sure it's ready. And boy oh boy are we ever ready.
We're letting just a few family members and friends stop by the Joint tonight to test it out and make sure we've got all the kinks worked out, but you can bet your pork butt we're gonna have hogs smokin' away come Wednesday night. (Unlike the construction of this double-decker BBQ Joint, smoking hogs actually does happen overnight.)
