Come see us at the Music City Food + Wine Festival - Sept. 15 and 16th!
We're excited to announce that Pitmaster and Founder Pat Martin is bringing his friends back to the Music City Food + Wine Festival for a big ole open fire feast Friday, Sept. 15 and Saturday, Sept. 16. One of our favorite things in the world is to fire up some coals and let some pros show off what they can cook over an open flame.
Tickets and additional information about the festival can be found on the Music city food + Wine Festival's website.
Over the course of two days in Bicentennial Park in Nashville, TN, chefs from all over will cook up the meat of their choice over our pit. And this year, we've got one heckuva group of guys coming in. These heavy-hitters will be firing up whole hog, whole lamb, whole goat, whole fish, beef ribs, and even a few coal-roasted root vegetables:
Salvador Avila, Greko Greek Street Food Chef
Matt Bolus, The 404 Executive Chef
Tyler Brown, Southall Chef
Trey Cioccia, The Farm House Chef and Owner
Bill and Tony Darsinos, Greko Greek Street Food Co-Owners and Operators
Billy Durney, Hometown Bar-B-Que Pitmaster and Owner
Joseph Lenn, J.C. Holdway Chef and Owner
Jason McConnell, McConnell Hospitality Group Owner/Executive Chef
Edgar Pendley, Urban Grub and Haute Iron Co.
Tandy Wilson, City House Chef and Owner
"There's nothing better than cooking with friends, especially over a live fire,” says Martin. “We've had so much fun the last couple of years. Chefs pop in and out throughout the weekend to cook with us, and it's great watching folks experience the different methods we use over live fire and seeing how much they enjoy the show of it all and most importantly, the great food. Hopefully, we inspire them to try new ways of outdoor cooking and grilling in their own backyards."
