Reheat The Right Way
While it might be easy to nuke those leftovers, trust us there's a better way.
Follow these tips for meat that is just as juicy and delicious as The Day it was cooked!
1. Refrigerate meat after pick-up. DO NOT FREEZE
2. Preheat oven to 250°
3. Now listen... this next step is very important. You are going to reheat this in the plastic wrap. Yes you read that correctly. DO NOT REMOVE PLASTIC WRAP. It will not melt as long as you keep your oven under 300°. Now your mom, your great aunt, or somebody will tell you you’re nuts. You’re not. Trust me! Place in the oven directly on the rack, NOT on a sheet or tray.
4. Oven rack placement should be such that the meat you are reheating is exactly in the middle of the oven.
Turkey Breast: 1.5-2 Hours (3.5 POUNDS)
Whole Turkey: 2-2.5 Hours (10-12 POUNDS)
HOLIDAY HAM: 3.5-4 HOURS (18-20 POUNDS)
WHOLE BRISKET: 2-2.5 HOURS (5 POUNDS)
WHOLE PORK SHOULDER: 3.5-4 HOURS (8 POUNDS)
CHICKEN: 1 HOUR (3-4 POUNDS)
RACK OF RIBS: 1 HOUR (3-4 POUNDS)
Make sure the internal temperature is 140 Degrees!
And Remember, Cooking times might vary depending on weight.
