NatGeo Traveller Spends Some Quality Time with Pat & Friends
You ever have those moments where stop and think, “Huh. Whoda thought?” Well, we had us one of those not too long ago when our pals from across the pond, National Geographic Traveler UK, called us up and asked if they could come over and have a home cooked meal. We were like, “Y’all want to come all the way over here to have some ‘cue in our backyard? Of course!”
But uh… whoda thought, right?
It sure was a pleasure getting to know Laura and Andrew with NatGeo (now that we’re tight with them, that’s what we call it). Check out the full article in the link below, but for now here’s one of our favorite parts:
“…if there’s one thing I learn from Pat, it’s that Souther cooking is as much about the journey as it is the destination—process and ritual being every bit as important as what ends up on the plate. Even a guy like him, barreling down life’s fast lane, slows down to make a meal.”
