Martin's Mentioned in Conde Nast Travel Top 15 BBQ Cities

A far cry from where our city stood a decade or so ago, today Nashville, TN is becoming far more diverse and cosmopolitan, and drawing in people from all over the country. Heck, they're comin' from all over the world!

Just like the variety of our population, the selection of barbecue in Nashville has expanded over the years, too. Long gone are the days where the options were few and the fans of these options were fewer. Today, Nashville boasts a slew of great BBQ joints, and we're proud to be considered one of them by Condé Nast!

Condé Nast Traveler searched the entire country to find 15 cities that were home to the best barbecue, and deemed Nashville particularly notable due to the variety of 'que within all of our city's different offerings.

Three major interstates run within a mile of each other in Nashville’s downtown, so it’s no surprise that the city is also a crossroads of barbecue styles, such as the West Tennessee whole hog at Martin’s Bar-b-que Joint, the Memphis-style dry ribs at Peg Leg Porker, or Edley’s BBQ’s notable smoked chicken with Alabama white sauce.
